We prepare our English students for Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE and CPE (proficiency) exams*

In addition to General English classes in the morning, you have 10 Cambridge Exam classes in the afternoon.

These classes will help you to:

‒ Practise the different tasks you have to do for each part of the exam

‒ Learn personal strategies to do the task more effectively

‒ Organise your learning

Bristol är en vänlig, säker attraktiv stad med en lång och färgstark historia som namnges "Bästa stället att bo i Storbritannien 2017" vid Sunday Times Magazine.

Med en befolkning på 500 000 är det den kulturella och kommersiella huvudstaden i sydväst.
 Det är hem åt ett varierat samhälle av artister, musiker, media, finansiella och högteknologiska företag.
Bristol har två utmärkta universitet, hundratals pubar och restauranger både moderna och traditionella, museer, biografer och grönområden. Bristol var den europeiska gröna huvudstaden 2015.

För "shopaholics" har Cabot köpcentrum och St Nicholas Market allt du behöver
Det finns alltid något i Bristol - musikfestivaler, Europas största luftballongfestival, en hamnfestival, matfestivaler och mer.

För sport- och utomhusaktivitetsfans har Bristol två fotbollslag, en rugbyklubb, gym, simbassänger, klättring, ridning, mountainbike och ett vattensportercentrum i hamnen.

Bristol är omgivet av sevärdheter: Bath, Oxford, Cardiff, Stonehenge och Stratford-Upon-Avon är alla nära och London ligger bara 90 minuter med tåg.

De två IH-centra erbjuder lätta och luftiga klassrum, ett välutrustat studierum, wi-fi och internetuppkoppling och till och med privata trädgårdar. Skolan är IELTS och Cambridge Exam Open Center för sydvästra England och har överskridit förväntningarna hos oberoende inspektionsorgan. Skolan är också ett lärarutbildningscenter som leder till fortsatt förbättring.

Bristol är en vänlig, säker stad med en rik historia som en handelshamn som nu är ett centrum för kreativa, finansiella och högteknologiska industrier. Med två blomstrande universitet är det en ung och livlig plats. Stor nog att erbjuda bra shopping, platser att se och massor av kulturell underhållning men fortfarande liten för att komma lätt och inte känna sig vilse.

Bristol är också det kulturella och kommersiella centrumet i sydvästra delen av England med sin oförstörda landsbygd, tuffa kust och kända gamla monument som Stonehenge. Bristol är omgivet av intressanta platser, som Cardiff, Bath och Oxford. Även London är bara en 90 minuters tågresa bort.

Truly everything was awesome! The location of the school is near the best places in Bristol ( Clifton Suspension Bridge, city center, shops, Bristol docks and great restaurants) and still it managed to be in a quiet street, so you can fully focus on absorbing the new language skills served by very experience and patient teachers. When it comes to the accommodation, it was fantastic! The family, where I stayed, were great at every aspect of daily life. They helped me with everything I needed and gave the most precious gift, homey feeling. Thank you guys.

IH Bristol has year-round residence accommodation for our adult students. We have two student houses within easy walking distance of the school (10-15 minutes) and each room has a private bathroom. Located in the Clifton area of Bristol there is no better location to experience everything that Bristol has to offer for students. You will have the opportunity to be more independent, practise your English with a large number of people, and have a guaranteed private bathroom!

What can I expect?:

Premier location in the Clifton area of Bristol, next to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and gyms. And 10-15 mintues walking distance from Clifton Village and the suspension bridge.
2025 price: £265 per week, plus £62 accommodation placement fee (Additional nights £40)
A 10-15 minutes' walk from our Queens Avenue adults centre
For adults 18 years and older only
Single rooms with private bathrooms
3/4 bed (this is larger than a single bed) with additional storage space under the mattress
Bedding, and 2 towels included
Self-catering, shared kitchen (shared between approximately 6-8 other IH Bristol students in each flat)

Visumsupport

Vi kan inte ansöka om visum för studenter. Dock kan skolan försörja dig med all dokumentation du behöver för att stödja din visumansökan.

Om du studerar i Storbritannien över 11 månader, så kommer du att få ett referensnummer kallat Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) som du överlämnar till Brittiska ambassaden tillsammans med din allmänna studentvisumansökan. Studenter som framgångsrikt har bokat en språkkurs och betalat avgifterna kommer att få ett CAS från . Var vänlig notera att Brittisk lag säger att CAS enbart tilldelas studenter som planerar att studera engelska i över 11 månader.

Om du studerar i Strobritannien i 11 månader eller mindre, så måste du ansöka om ett speciellt besöksvisum som kallas Student Visitor Visa. Som en besökande student, kan du inte arbeta på halvtid samtidigt som du studerar. Om du planerar att studera i Storbritannien i 11 månader eller mindre, så kommer ett antagningsbrev skickas till din hemadress via vanlig post utan kostnad. Om du önskar få ditt pappersarbete via expressbrev, kommer du att debiteras £ 60 när du registrerar dig.
