Home Language International (HLI) is a family-run business offering language courses in more than 20 languages in over 30 countries worldwide, including English lessons at an experienced private teacher's home in UK. More than 5,000 students take advantage of our services every year. Ian Josephs, Danielle Josephs, their 5 adult children and an expert team of dedicated staff all put in very long hours for HLI.
You stay in an experienced teacher's family home, have one-to-one English lessons and then continue to use the language during the rest of your stay in Hastings. Because you are the only student, you are guaranteed individual attention. The lessons are completely designed for you, so the teacher will focus exactly on what you need. Mealtime conversation, television and social contacts are all in English.
All of our teachers in UK have a university degree (or equivalent) and/or a recognised teaching certificate. All teachers have been visited by one of our local organisers. Their qualifications have been checked and their homes throughly inspected. During your stay in Hastings, a local organiser will monitor your progress and make sure your experience is both happy and successful.

Activities and Excursions
Moreover we offer all kinds of activities and excursions to inspire our students and enhance their learning. Hastings is a lovely, lively seaside town on the stunning East Sussex coast. Not only is it rich in culture with many museums, stately homes and art galleries to visit in Hastings and the surrounding area, but it is famous for its live music scene. Also, if you enjoy active living there is golf, tennis and water sports or simply some beautiful coastal walks just 10 minutes drive from the school.
We can also organise singing or pottery lessons, once again a fun and diverting way to practice conversation and sentence structure.
We offer afternoon 'Walking Talking Lessons', taking the lesson away from the desk and screen.
We also offer a tailor-made excursion to London, which will take the whole day.
Buckswood St Georges ligger centralt i Hastings på Englands sydöstra kust (Sunshine Coast), och är nära kopplad till Buckswood School bara 15 minuters bilresa bort.
Vi erbjuder en mängd olika kurser från korta engelska språkkurser, till ett år långt universitetsstiftelse till en helt 2 årig IB/A-nivå kurs. Vi erbjuder även halvtid/semester kurser och program skräddarsydda för att passa dina behov.
Buckswood St Georges flyttades i slutet av 2012 och vi är nu idealiskt placerade för alla de viktigaste faciliteterna i staden, Gamla stan och strandpromenaden.
Våra två nyrenoverade bostäder erbjuder rymligt boende, välutrustade klassrum, en IT-svit med gratis wi-fi internet, studierum, matsal, lounge med TV/biljardbord/bordtennis/fotboll, attraktiva trädgårdar och utomhus basketboll. Ett fullständigt referensbibliotek ligger 5 minuter bort, liksom Hastings University Center och ett IELTS testcenter.
Vi driver ett fullt socialt program som alla studenter är välkomna att gå med. Vi erbjuder aktiviteter i hemmet som quizkvällar, filmkvällar och temakvällar, och utflykter, kanske till biografen, tio-pin bowling eller galen golf följt av fisk och chips! Helgedagens weekendutflykter arrangeras till platser som Canterbury, London eller Brighton, med halv dagsturer i mitten av veckan till Rye, Battle eller Eastbourne.
Studenterna kan delta i en mängd olika sporter och aktiviteter som antingen kan äga rum på Buckswood campus eller på lokala idrottsanläggningar. Aktiviteter kan innebära att sportlag, simma eller till och med ridning.

Oavsett om du är student, affärsman/kvinna eller resenär, så finns det en språkkurs i Hastings som är rätt för dig. Det finns språkkurser i engelska tillgängliga för alla kunskapsnivåer, åldrar och kurslängder. Välj en kurstyp från listan nedan för att komma igång.
Generella engelska språkkurser är för vuxna som vill förbättra sin engelska gällande talförmåga, hörförståelse, läsförståelse och skrivförmåga. De flesta kurser är för vuxna i åldrarna 16 och upp. 2 - 48 långa veckorskurser tillgängliga. De flesta kurser har i genomsnitt 30 lektioner per vecka.
